Last Sunday the Cooma Golf Club held the Charlie Baeumont Memorial Open for junior golfers.
I would like to congratulate all players and acknowledge that all players were exemplary ambassadors for their clubs. All games were played in the spirit of great sportsmanship and appreciation of the game.
All clubs should be proud of their representatives and they are all welcome at Cooma Golf club at any time.
I’d also like to thank all the family and friends that came to support the junior golfers and we hope you enjoyed the Cooma hospitality.
The winner of the Charlie Beaumont Memorial Trophy was Harry Whitelock from Royal Canberra Golf Club with a fantastic score of 73 gross. The gross winner today was Noah Bricknell from Goulburn Golf Club on 77 gross on countback from Bailey Pearson Perryman. The nett winner today was Thomas Heffernan from Moruya Golf Club on 74 nett and the runner up was Ben Smith from Cooma Golf Club on 75 nett.
The girls winner today was Emily Mollard from Royal Canberra Golf Club on 74 nett. The Long Drive for the girls was won by Ellie McCormack from Crookwell Golf Club The Long drive for the boys was won by Harry Whitelock from Royal Canberra
Nearest The Pin:4th went to Emily Mollard from Royal Canberra9th Hunter Caldwell from Cooma Golf Club 17th Oscar Woolridge from Catalina Country Club.
