Gold Creek has defeated Yass in the 2025 B Scratch Pennant final held at RMC on Sunday April 6th.
The contest was close all day and it was 3-3 at the end of ‘regular time’. Five of the six matches finished on the 17th or 18th greens and the other one went to 16 holes.
Each team then chose a player to represent them in a sudden death playoff. Stephen Harris (Gold Creek) prevailed and won the first playoff hole, over Bill Howe, and therefore the contest and the B Scratch Pennant.
Congratulations to all. Thanks to RMC Golf Club for making the course available for the final. My thanks to Match Committee member, Steve Noble, for refereeing the Match and providing this report.
