The ACT Monaro District Golf Association is calling for nominations for the upcoming Committee Elections.
In accordance with the Association Constitution, nominations are sought to fill all Committee positions, with every position declared vacant and open for election at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting to be held on October 8th.
Positions Available
The Committee consists of the following positions:
• President
• Vice-President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Captain
• Junior Golf Manager
• Three Ordinary Committee Members
Who Can Nominate?
To be eligible for election, nominees must:
• Be at least 18 years of age; and
• Be a member of an affiliated golf club.
*note the Secretary position needs to be filled by an ACT resident.
Nominations must be submitted in writing, identify the position(s) being sought, be proposed and seconded by office-holders from two affiliated golf clubs, and include the nominee’s acknowledgement and acceptance of nomination.

We encourage members who are passionate about the future of golf in the ACT Monaro region to consider nominating. Serving on the Committee is an excellent opportunity to help shape the strategic direction of the Association, support our clubs, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the game across the district.

Nominations close at 11:59pm on Thursday, 17 September 2026.
Late nominations cannot be accepted.
