This is the final district event of the 2024 calendar year, scheduled for SUNDAY 8th December.
It is an 18-hole STROKE play event, which recognises the Champion Golfer for 2024. It is also the final round of the District’s year-long Order-of-Merit Series (i.e the Canberra region’s imitation of the Fedex-Cup, admittedly with slightly smaller prizes).
This is an event for the lower handicap, men golfers in the District. There is a handicap cut-off of 10.4. However, any individuals in a good position in the nett order- of-merit series, with a higher handicap, may still enter, but will need to contact me if their handicap is outside the limit.
We specifically invite current and past A Grade Club Champions, Senior Club Champions and Junior Club Champions to participate.
There are nice prize vouchers for various divisions — gross, nett, senior, junior — if numbers in these individual divisions are reasonable.
